USDA Nutrition Database
Hooray!! I finally found nutritional information for whole foods! I hate that I can't figure out how much potassium or sodium or whatever is really in the carrot or banana or whatever whole food I just ate. I finally figured out where to find the info and it's easy!! http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/ is the USDA's nutritional information database. You plug in the food name or keyword and it pulls up a list of possible foods and then asks you how much you want and spits out more nutritional information than you ever wanted to know! Its organized in a table so its not overwhelming. I think its great!
